I'm selling a 1993 Lexus SC400. This is a fantastic car and a collectible rising in value, but it's 27 years old and could use a few things. 190k miles.
It drives and handles flat and smooth just like the Mark IV Supra, and the V8 sounds wonderful and pulls strong.
This was a Georiga car until 2012, so it's 99 percent rust free. There is a small dent on the passenger rear and the paint has some scratches. It's Emerald Green and not some awful tan or champagne.
The engine runs great and pulls strong, but the idle swings between 1500-2000rpms. I think this is because of the idle air control valve or MAF, or possibly a vacuum leak.
The yellow oil level light comes on after too much time taking hard corners, but the oil level is fine. This seems to be a common problem with the sensor.
The interior is good for its age, the seats aren't all torn up like others. However, there are little things like a few loose trim pieces and the door panel.
The passenger door handle isn't working, the windshield has a crack, and the steering wheel leather is worn, but that's an easy swap.
It has brand new plates and tabs. The wheels are 19" with a staggered setup of 225 front/245 rear. The original wheels come with the car.
This is a fantastic car that will rise in value. It can be a daily driver as is and any repairs will pay off.
