I'm selling a Threshold Murphy floor lamp in dark brown/black with bronze shades.

This is a reproduction or a lamp inspired by mid-century floor lamps.

HOWEVER, this one has one notable exception -- I fixed it. Target originally mounted the shades so they only faced directly to the side or slightly angled downward. That was an awful design because the shades never hid the bulbs and they were annoyingly bright.

I re-mounted the shades to face only directly down, directly up, or slightly angled outward. That's how these lamps are supposed to be. I know because I had four original mid-century lamps.

The lamp now provide perfect indirect lighting or works great as a reading lamp.

The pictures show before I fixed it. The last two pics show how the shades point now that it's fixed. They don't point outward.
