I'm selling a iMac a1224 that seems to need a graphics card.

I opened it and checked the four diagnostic LEDs, and the first three light up, but the fourth does not. According to Apple's website, this signifies that the GPU isn't working properly.

It seemed that I was the only person to have ever opened it.

There is a trick to "fix" the GPU, called the "oven trick", where the GPU is put in an oven for ten minutes or so. This seems to last for anywhere from a few months to indefinitely.

It's model MA876LL with the Core 2 Duo at 2.0mHz, a 250gb hard drive, and 1gb of RAM.

It could be parted out, but these are still good machines if they have SSDs and the 6gb RAM upgrade!
